Samsung Galaxy S24: The Elec, in an exclusive report, has disclosed that the projected global launch date of Samsung‘s Galaxy S24 series—which includes the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra—is January 17, 2024. This announcement was given by an anonymous Samsung Electronics official, despite the tech giant not formally confirming it on its channels.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch details

The pre-order and sale timeline for the Galaxy S24 series, in addition to the launch date, are disclosed in this report. Three models are available in the series: the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Following the debut on January 17, preorders will open right away, with early orders anticipated to be delivered between January 26 and 30. On January 30, the Galaxy S24 series is scheduled to go on general sale.

Expected camera details

A 50MP primary back camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP selfie camera are anticipated to be included in the Galaxy S24 and S24+, according to prior rumours.

It is possible that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 200MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP front camera.

Rumoured to have AI capabilities

There are rumours that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have AI features, just like the Google Pixel 8 series. Both cloud-based and on-device AI features are expected to be included in the Galaxy AI. A generative AI may also be included in the smartphone, enabling users to take and alter images, according to reports. It is indicated that the AI capability might be provided on a subscription basis, meaning that consumers might have to pay for this service.
