Samsung Galaxy XCover 7: The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7, the company’s first rugged smartphone aimed towards enterprises, was revealed in India. The smartphone is certified by MIL-STD-810H, a testing standard used by the US military to assess the device’s endurance, and is made to withstand extreme conditions. The front of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 6.6-inch Full HD+ TFT LCD screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and supports a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

The Galaxy XCover 7 has two cameras: a 5MP selfie shooter on the front and a 50MP f/1.8 lens on the back. Users will need to buy the charger dock separately, but the newest Samsung smartphone includes a 4,050 mAh replaceable battery that can be fast-charged using a 15W pogo-pin charger.

For all graphics-intensive operations, the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor and Mali G57 GPU power the latest Samsung smartphone. The smartphone also has an internal storage capacity of 128GB, which can be expanded to 1TB using a microSD card slot, and 6GB of RAM.

Based on Samsung’s proprietary OneUI, the Galaxy XCover 7 runs the most recent version of Android 14, which is an operating system. The smartphone is advertised as being able to tolerate harsh weather, including rain and extremely high temperatures, and it comes with military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification. In addition, the smartphone is claimed to be able to survive falls of up to 1.5 metres and has an IP68 rating for water and dust protection.

Price details

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Standard Edition costs Rs. 27,208, while the Enterprise Edition costs Rs. 27,530. There is only one version available: 6GB RAM/128GB storage. There is a one-year warranty for the Standard Edition and a two-year warranty for the Enterprise Edition. Samsung.com and the online EPP portal are the places where corporate and institutional customers can buy the newest smartphones.

Samsung is offering the Galaxy XCover 7 Enterprise Edition with a 12-month subscription to Knox Suite.
