Son uses AI to recreate his late dad’s voice
At first, Phillip was reluctant to consider utilising artificial intelligence to emulate his father’s speech. When his wife, Kassandra, made the suggestion, he thought it was surprising. But he was encouraged to do this by an online community of others who had started doing similar things.
Willett spent a full day honing the AI-generated speech. Through the process, he felt more connected to his father. He got chills when he heard the outcome—a flawless imitation of his father’s voice. After that, he mixed the voice over a photo-filled video to make his mother a memento video book.
