Sony has recently expanded its portfolio of zoom lens with a new wide angle zoom lens- G Master FE 16-35mm GM II. The latest lens comes with an aperture of 2.8 and it is campatible with 35mm full frame Alpha E mount cameras.
The new lens is capable of covering the focal length of 16mm to 35mm and aperture of the lens remains fixed at 2.8 throughout different focal length. The latest wide angle zoom lens is made to serve the needs of photographers and videographers searching for high performance lenses.
As per company claims, Sony G Master FE 16-35mm is the lightest and the smallest lens with 2.8 Aperture.

The zoom lens comes with a new optical design with an extreme aspherical (XA) lens that offers high resolution output throughout its F2.8 aperture range. The new lens outputs best in class bokeh and comes with excellent close-up potentials with a maximum maginification of 0.32x and a minimum shooting distance of 0.22 m.
Sony’s own Nano AR Coating II prevents ghosting and flares which makes sure to provide clear image even with strong light exposure. The new lens boasts fast and precise autofocus with the XD linear motors that makes this lens capable of both movies and stills. Sony G Master FE 16-35mm is made to withstand outdoor usage with dust proof and splash proof designs.

The brand has launched the new lens with the price tag of Rs. 238990, FE 16-35mm GM II will be available across the dealerships of the Sony, Sony Centers Alpha Flagship stores, e-commerce websites and major electronic stores in India from 15 September.
