Cynthia Breazeal

She is the director of the organization’s Initiative on Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education and developed (and still leads) the Personal Robots group.
Breazeal’s groundbreaking work in social robots has made her well-known in the field. She focuses on the issue of “living with AI” in her larger body of work. Shivon Zilis
Shivon Zilis has occupied important positions on the executive committees of numerous well-known artificial intelligence firms. Among them are OpenAI, Neuralink, and Bloomberg Beta, among others. She was a Project Director for the Autopilot product and chip design team at Tesla as well.
Furthermore, she was the newest board member at Neuralink and OpenAI. Zilis was included on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 venture capital list in 2015.
Chelsea Finn
Chelsea Finn is an assistant professor at Stanford University with a focus on electrical engineering and computer science. Timnit Gebru
Of all the promoters of AI DE&I, Timnit Gebru is very influential. Her accomplishments include founding The Distributed AI Research Institute and co-founding the Black in AI programme. Time has listed her among the top 100 most influential individuals worldwide.
Known for her work ensuring that Google’s AI products were free of racial bias, Gebru was also the former co-leader of the company’s ethical AI team. She departed the job in 2020, however, after two years, in response to the release of a research that questioned the ethics of AI language models generally and condemned Google’s handling of this complex issue.
