Despite this, travellers are frequently compelled to ride without tickets because of delays in obtaining them.
UTS App: Book general tickets online
The Railways have lately, however, started offering general tickets online. means that travellers can buy a regular train ticket while staying in their house. To address this, an unreserved ticketing system has been implemented, allowing you to purchase a general rail ticket online from your mobile device. Users using Android and iOS devices can download the UTS app.
How to Book
Install the UTS App first by going to the Google Play Store. You may download the Windows version from the Windows Store. It is free.
An application for mobile phones can be used to register for the app. On this website, you may also find FAQs and information regarding booking tickets using the UTS app.
Following a successful registration, you will receive an SMS containing your login information and a free R-Wallet (Railway Wallet) with a zero balance.
For this, recharge your R-Wallet. The passenger has to have R-Wallet installed on their phone and have enough money in their R-Wallet.
Individuals under the age of 17 or those who have already been suspended or expelled from the services by the Indian Railways are not eligible for the services.
