What did the tipster reveal?

The Vivo X Flip is currently under development, according to the tipster. The informant added that the Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8475 chip would power the Vivo X Flip. This means that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform will power the Vivo X Flip.

The leak was timed to the impending release of Oppo’s new foldable. In addition to the Oppo Find N2 Flip, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series is becoming more and more liked, which may help to explain Vivo’s decision to release a new flip phone. The Moto Razr and Huawei P50 Pocket are two further flip phones that have already entered the market.

The Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Fold+, which are both only available in China, are the company’s first two foldable smartphones to be released this year.  Although Vivo hasn’t officially announced the Vivo X Flip’s launch as of yet, additional information should be coming.
