Google Photos: Google Photos is a go-to place for smartphone users to store and share their precious memories. Now, Google Photos also allows users to create a shared album and collaborate on photo collections with their family members and friends. For Android/ iOS Users
- Open the Google Photos app and sign in to your Google account.
- Select the photos or videos you want to add to the shared album. You can do this by tapping and holding on to a single photo or video, then tapping on others to select them.
- Tap the Add button (the + sign) at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Shared Album from the menu.
- Enter a title for your album and tap Create.
- Add the people you want to share the album with by entering their email addresses or phone numbers. You can also share the album with a link, which anyone with the link can view.
- Choose whether you want people to be able to add photos and videos to the album.
- Tap Share.
For PC Users
- Go to https://www.google.com/photos/about/ and sign in to your Google account.
- Click on the Photos tab.
- Select the photos or videos you want to add to the shared album. You can do this by clicking and holding on to a single photo or video, then clicking on others to select them.
- Click the + button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Select Create shared album.
- Enter a title for your album and click Create.
- Add the people you want to share the album with by entering their email addresses. You can also share the album with a link, which anyone with the link can view.
- Choose whether you want people to be able to add photos and videos to the album.
- Click Share.
Additional Things to Know
- You can add up to 20,000 photos and videos to a shared album.
- Shared albums can be viewed on the web, on mobile devices and on smart TVs.
- You can control who can see and add photos to a shared album by changing the album settings.
