WhatsApp to soon have a new look?
WhatsApp is changing the chat interface on its Android application, according to information provided by feature tracker WABetaInfo. The instant messaging service is modifying some of the app’s colours, which will impact how the app appears in dark mode. The app’s buttons and icons are also being changed with new colours. The feature tracker has discovered an updated UI for the app that WhatsApp is still developing in version 2.23.20.10 of the WhatsApp beta for Android.
The camera icon in video calls, phone calls, personal conversations, and group chats will all change, and WhatsApp is also aiming to add a new camera icon to the main chat screen. The new icons are shown in both bright and dark modes in screenshots posted by WABetaInfo.
WhatsApp Channels: A new mass communication feature
A one-way messaging platform called WhatsApp Channels enables exclusive updates from businesses, sports teams, brands, artists, and opinion leaders.
Admins can broadcast one-way text, images, videos, stickers, and polls using Channels. A new option on WhatsApp called Updates allows you to browse channels in addition to your chats with family, friends, and communities.
