Picture in picture update

Picture-in-picture functionality was first introduced by WhatsApp in December of last year and then made accessible to WhatsApp Beta users. Picture-in-picture WhatsApp video calls will be available to all iPhone users as of right now.

The Picture-in-picture functionality has been added, according to the app’s release notes for version 23.3.77, which was just made available in the App Store. Similar to other apps like Apple’s FaceTime, WhatsApp’s PiP feature operates in a similar manner. When you join a video call and close the app, the video automatically appears in a tiny floating window on top of other apps.

New update by WhatsApp

In addition to the picture-in-picture mode, the new update offers the option to caption documents, longer group subjects, and longer group descriptions to make it simpler to describe the groups.

On the iOS app’s stable release, picture-in-picture mode has been broadly made available to everyone for use while on a WhatsApp call. In order to determine whether the function has already been enabled for their WhatsApp account, users must upgrade the programme from the App Store.

The update to WhatsApp today, however, comes with more. The business claims that when sending documents from an iPhone, captions can now be added. Long group descriptions and personalised avatars are now also supported by WhatsApp.
