WhatsApp Screen Sharing feature now available on video calls, Here is how to use

WhatsApp: Updates to the social media messaging programme WhatsApp have been released by Meta, the massive American software business. Users of WhatsApp may now virtually share their screens with other users in real-time, regardless of distance, thanks to the most recent version. Here is all you must know about this feature.

WhatsApp Screen Sharing feature: All you must know

Screen-sharing services like Zoom and Google Meet, which gained enormous traction during the 2020 Coronavirus epidemic, are largely replicated in WhatsApp’s screen-sharing feature. During video calls, users can watch presentations, films, or photographs by sharing their screens. With this feature, Meta-owned WhatsApp hopes to compete with videoconferencing apps like Zoom, Cisco Webex, and Google Meet.

WhatsApp in its Help Center, said, “Screen sharing is protected with end-to-end encryption and is never recorded by WhatsApp. No one outside of the call, not even WhatsApp, can see or hear what you share on your screen.”

Users must update WhatsApp to the most recent version in order to access the screen-sharing feature, which is accessible on Android, iOS, and Windows. To upgrade their app before beginning screen sharing, users who are not using the most recent version will get an onscreen prompt.
