WhatsApp: Almost a month after its launch, WhatsApp has begun rolling out a new Call Links feature. It is being rolled out gradually to users, and the latest version aims to improve the app’s group calling capability. A WhatsApp Call Link allows users to create a shareable link that allows others to join a conference call. It means that anyone who has the link call can join the call, even if they are not a member of your group. The connection is said to be valid for 90 days.
The function was discovered on a Samsung smartphone by a member of the Tech team
It looks to be a server-side upgrade. Users are still recommended to keep their software updated in order to take advantage of new features. Call Links will most likely be available to all WhatsApp users very soon.

When a user clicks on the link, he or she will be given two options: Join or Leave. During a video call, users will still be able to mute the audio and conceal the video.

Users of Zoom and Google Meets, for example, can create rooms, share displays, and even read live transcriptions.
Nonetheless, the new WhatsApp function will benefit many users who utilise the app for fast chats. Currently, WhatsApp users can add up to 32 people to a group call. However, this could alter very soon. According to a recent source, the Meta-owned website would soon allow users to add up to 1024 people. Call Links will become more useful as the capability becomes available.
