Who is Changpeng Zhao?
Changpeng Zhao is a renowned Chinese-Canadian Entrepreneur and investor. He is the ex-CEO of Binance which is the world’s largest world largest cryptocurrency exchange.
Zhao was born in Jiangsu, China in 1977. Changpeng Zhao moved to Canada with his family members at 12 years of age. He completed his graduation from McGill University getting a degree in computer science in 2001.
After completing his studies, Changpeng Zhao worked as a software engineer with several companies including Fusion Systems and Bloomberg Tradebook.
In 2014, Zhao founded a Blockchain company named BijieTech that later developed a high-frequency trading platform for cryptocurrencies.
