Apple Intelligence
Apple has unveiled Apple Intelligence, a powerful generative AI created to protect user privacy while improving user experiences. Tim Cook, the CEO, highlighted the importance of “personal intelligence,” showcasing Apple Intelligence as a significant advancement.
Key Features of Apple Intelligence
- Generative AI Capabilities: Apple Intelligence is able to comprehend and produce visuals, carry out operations within apps, recognise private circumstances, and expedite everyday chores.
- Advanced Writing Tools:With the use of Image Playground and Genmoji tools, it helps with writing, email classification, voice transcription and summarization, setting priorities for notifications, and creating pictures and emojis.
- Privacy First: Many AI models will run on-device, while complex tasks will use Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. User data remains secure and private, with independent experts verifying Apple’s privacy claims.
Apple Intelligence will be available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPads, and MacBooks with M1 or later chipsets, launching this fall in the US via iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
Siri’s Major AI-Powered Revamp
Siri is set to become more natural, contextual, and personal, thanks to Apple Intelligence. The voice assistant will feature:

Now, users can read notifications and carry out tasks immediately on their Mac while wirelessly accessing and controlling their iPhones from their Macs.
New Passwords App
A feature-rich app that can be used to manage credentials on all Apple devices and is compatible with Windows via iCloud.
Enhanced Video Calling
Presenter Preview allows users to see their screens before sharing in meetings, compatible with FaceTime and Zoom. Users can also change video call backgrounds with various options.
