Xiaomi 14 Series: Xiaomi has finally introduced its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi 14 Series in India. The all-new series comprises two smartphones- Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The new smartphone series runs on the new HyperOS and boasts a flagship-level camera. The base Xiaomi 14 competes with Samsung’s recently launched flagship, Galaxy S24 Ultra in India. Coming with a cheaper price tag, the Xiaomi 14 offers better features and camera specs.
Xiaomi 14 Specs
Like the previously launched Xiaomi 13, the new Xiaomi 14 has also arrived with a boxy design. But, now the device carries bigger camera lenses, enlarging the size of the camera module of the smartphone. Also, there is no separation between the camera lenses in the Xiaomi 14. The device features a 6.3-inch OLED 1.5K 10-bit display which supports a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Powering the Xiaomi 14 is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with UP TO 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on Android HyperOS based on Android 14.
In terms of camera specs, the Xiaomi 14 boasts a triple rear camera setup, incorporating a 50MP Light Fusion 900 primary sensor. 50MP Ultrawide lens and 50MP floating telephoto lens. On the front side, the device features a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The device gets its juice from a 4610 mAh battery which supports 90 Watt wired charging
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Specs
In terms of design, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra can be easily differentiated from the base Xiaomi 14. The Ultra model comes with a circular camera module with a step design like real DSLRs. The device gets a 6.73-inch OLED display with micro curves. The given display supports a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate which lowers down to 1 Hz in minimal usage, and 3000 nits peak brightness.
Additionally, the device comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the ultra variant also gets a liquid cooling system. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also runs on HyperOS based on Android 14.
As for the camera specs, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide lens, 50MP 3.2x telephoto sensor and another 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera. On the front side, the device gets a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra packs a bigger 5300 mAh battery which supports 80W wired fast charging.
Xiaomi 14 Series Price in India
The base variant Xiaomi 14 is priced at Rs. 6999 for only 12GB + 512 GB storage configuration. On the other hand, the top-end, Xiaomi 14 Ultra 16GB + 512GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs. 99999 in India.
