YouTube: Three dozen new features and improvements have been added to YouTube as of today; some are modest, while several are both more noticeable and far more useful. In this article, we will tell you about some of these features.
YouTube Rolls out 36 new features
You Tab
YouTube combined the Library tab and account page into the You tab. Users can locate previously seen videos, playlists, downloads, and purchases in this area along with channel details and account-related options. Today, tablets, smartphones, and the web are getting access to the function.
Stable Volume
Soon, mobile devices will have better audio control. Often referred to as “stable volume,” it balances out louder portions of a piece of information without annoying you.
Lock feature
To prevent unintentionally tapping out of a video, you can now lock the screen of your phone or tablet.
Search by voice
Now, users can hum, sing, or play a song to search for it. Artificial intelligence is being used by the company to ensure that the sound matches the original recording. The feature will be made accessible for Android devices initially, and it will be rolled out in the coming weeks.
Real-time view and likes
For the first 24 hours, you will be able to check the view and like counts in real-time.
YouTube keeps its essential features while adding subtle animations to modernise the design while maintaining user familiarity.
