YouTube Update: YouTube receives a redesign, pinch-to-zoom, and other significant upgrades. YouTube has released a significant upgrade that alters the app’s user interface and even includes features. The most recent software update also includes pinch-to-zoom, Ambient mode, and Precise seeking.

In video descriptions, YouTube URLs will be converted to buttons. To avoid distractions, actions such as download, share, and like have also been moved to the lower side. The good news for creators is that the site has given the subscription button greater emphasis by focusing it more. The subscription button will now appear in an oval-shaped white box near the creator’s name.
The update includes an ambient setting that adds a slight effect below a video. This feature will be available in a dark theme on the web and mobile. Regarding this, the developer has also adjusted the dark theme a little darker to make the colors more visible on screen. This will launch on the web, mobile devices, and Smart TVs.

The pinch-to-zoom feature has been added to YouTube, which is quite self-explanatory. You may now pinch to zoom in and out of a video on your iOS or Android smartphone. When you release the zoom button, the video remains zoomed. This feature will provide more information, but it will only be accessible if the video supports high resolution.
YouTube Precise seeking feature
YouTube has also added a new Precise seeking feature, which enables users to effortlessly locate any segment of a video. Drag or swipe up to display a row of thumbnails in the video player on a desktop or mobile to fine-tune your video selection.

Long-pressing anywhere on the player to seek and double-tapping with two fingers to skip chapters have also been included. One will also find a graph that shows the parts of a video that are played over and over.
