Animal Viral Video: A video of a monkey riding in a bus in Lucknow has gone viral, showing the moment the primate got on and started to panic some of the other passengers. The passengers were startled and hurriedly got off the bus, impatiently waiting for the monkey to disappear. This resulted in a disorderly scene at the bus stop.

The monkey is seen sitting on a man’s head in the widely shared video, and other passengers have to rush out of the bus to avoid getting in touch with it. Inquiring about the circumstances, the person taking the video spoke with a man who was probably the bus conductor. The bus driver disclosed that the primate had entered the bus and was hesitant to disembark. Despite his assurances that no one had been harmed by the primate, the fear caused havoc among the drivers.
To help the monkey leave, even the bus driver asked everyone to get out. But the monkey clung to a man’s shoulder, delaying the situation as the passenger next to him worriedly watched, unable to even open his eyes because of the monkey’s close quarters.
Animal bite incidents are increasing
Notably, Lucknow has long struggled with monkey-related problems. According to a TOI report from October, there are animal bite incidents in the city every eight minutes. Although stray dogs continue to be the main offenders, cats and monkeys are not far behind, causing an attack roughly every hour.
