An Instagram account named Inside History shared the adorable video and captioned, “Kailo, a baby chimpanzee, was rescued from wildlife traffickers after poachers killed his mother. Sometimes in life you just need a hug and that was definitely the case for Kailo.”
The chimpanzee’s pain of being separated from his mother and fear of predators is clearly visible in the video. The way he immediately hugs the rescuer as soon as the cage is opened, your heart will melt. Viewers have given heartfelt reactions on the video and till now the video has received 270K likes.
