When snakes find prey larger than their head, they use their powerful jaws. Snakes spread their mouths and slowly devour the prey whole. This incredible flexibility allows them to consume animals much larger than themselves. A video is going viral on YouTube in which a snake is eating an egg bigger than its head. The snake has patiently put the whole egg inside the mouth.

In this video shared by @wildliferescuebaihar6236, a small black snake can be seen slowly moving towards the large egg from its head. Snake starts taking the egg inside its mouth with the help of its strong jaw. Slowly its mouth starts to stretch. The snake coils around the egg and after some time the entire egg is inside its mouth. When the egg is in the snake’s mouth, it expands so much that you will be stunned to see it. Finally, the snake expels the egg shell out of the mouth and returns to its normal size. This feature of snakes eating prey bigger than themselves is amazing.
