Deepika Padukone was spotted incognito at the Gaiety Galaxy in Bandra on Sunday. The star appears to have gone to the movies to observe how the public reacted to her latest film, Pathaan. She was dressed in black casuals and disguised her face under a cap and mask as she was led out of the theatre by security personnel.

Pathaan has broken numerous box office records and continues to do so. The film has amassed a worldwide gross of 400 crores. In the four days since its debut, it has grossed $265 million in India and 164 million internationally. It is also the fastest film in India to hit the 250 crore mark. Baahubali 2, KGF 2, and Dangal took longer to reach the milestone.
“‘Pathaan’ reached another 100 crore/day on its fourth day, earning 53.25 crore nett in India (Hindi, all dubbed versions), bringing the total gross to 64 crore. The foreign gross on day 4 is 52 crore, bringing the overall collection on day four to 116 crore gross,” Yash Raj Films announced on Monday.
Meanwhile, a group of persons allegedly affiliated with a right-wing movement broke the display boards of a Pathaan screening theatre in Bhayander, Thane district, on Sunday evening, according to a police official. According to him, a video of the mob yelling anti-Shah Rukh and the film leaked online. He stated that nine people had been detained in this relation and that the process of filing a complaint was underway.
