BTS Festa 2023: The globally revered Korean pop band, BTS, is preparing to celebrate their ten-year journey in the music industry. Their latest group photo, taken ahead of the annual BTS Festa 2023, has been a visual treat for their devoted fan base, famously known as the ‘ARMY’. A Decade with BTS: Festa 2023
As part of their decade-long tradition, BTS takes a group picture annually to commemorate their anniversary. The 2023 edition portrays the band members in a playful and endearing light, sparking excitement among fans globally. BTS, since their inception in 2013, consistently celebrate their debut date – June 13th, through an event called ‘BTS FESTA’. This year, the event promises even more fan engagement and excitement as it commemorates a decade of the band’s journey in music.
Collaborations and Celebrations: BTS and TikTok
TikTok, the popular social media platform, has announced a collaboration with the 2023 BTS Festa. The platform will host various events, including a special hashtag challenge, as part of the celebrations. Moreover, TikTok will be a major promotional platform for BTS’s latest digital single ‘Take Two’. Exclusive content and special messages from the band about their journey over the past decade will be featured on the #NewMusic hub.
‘Take Two’ is a poignant tribute to their fans, reflecting on their journey from their debut until now and envisioning their future together with the ARMY post their military service.
BTS’ Noteworthy Accomplishments
BTS continues to shine in their individual and collective endeavours. A highlight includes the track from the ‘Fast and Furious X’ soundtrack, ‘Angel Pt. 1’, featuring Jimin, JVKE, and Muni Long. The song entered the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart at number 65 on May 31, marking Jimin’s fourth individual appearance on the chart.
Furthermore, on June 1, the Ministry of National Defense awarded a plaque to BTS’s RM (Kim Namjoon), recognising him as a public relations ambassador for the KIA (Killed in Action) Recovery & Identification agency during a ceremony at the Seoul National Agency.
