Bad news is coming out from the team of popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’. Abhishek Makwana, the author of this show, committed suicide on 27 November. Abhishek was found hanging in his flat. Police said that Abhishek Makwana had mentioned the financial crisis in the suicide note. Whereas, the family of the deceased alleged that he was a victim of cyber fraud and blackmail.
Police had said that the author mentioned ‘financial troubles’ in his suicide note. Abhishek’s family, on the other hand, has now alleged that the deceased was a victim of blackmail and cyber fraud. Apparently, after Abhishek’s death, the family is receiving calls from fraudsters. Families are being demanded to return the money as the family was made a guarantor for the loan.
The investigation of his email after his death has revealed this. According to Janice, the thugs are still pressuring the family members to pay the money. Some of the numbers being used to threaten are from Bangladesh and Myanmar. After Makwana’s suicide, Charkop police started investigating ADR by registering ADR. There was mention of financial problems in the suicide note but it was not given full information in it. Now Janice claims that after checking the email account she came to know that Abhishek took a small amount as a loan but later forced to pay interest in his name by forcibly accepting more loan.
The lenders also called Abhishek’s friends along with the family and threatened to return the loan instead. According to the police, the suicide note written in Gujarati has written about suicide due to personal and financial troubles, but it does not mention cheating. This information has now been received by the family, after which the investigation of bank accounts and numbers used for threatening has started.
