Kerala’s Belagavi district witnessed a heavy rainfall that caused the death of a 15-year-old boy. This mishap occurred in Chunchunawad village in Belagava’s districts in Khanapur Taluk.
The boy who was found dead after the house collapsed is identified as Ananthu Pashettu (15).

During this July monsoon season, the coastal region of Kerala has witnessed heavy rainfall. The Weather department has predicted heavy rainfall in specific parts like over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
In the midst, Basavraj Bommai, honourable chief minister of Karnataka has currently announced that a total of Rs 500 crore will be released in order to immediate measure to restore basic amenities and infrastructure damaged due to the heavy rains recently.

The minister is likely to visit areas affected by the flood in Uttara Kannada and Belagavi districts by next week.
Moreover, Bommai said that a thorough report on the loss caused by the heavy rains would be secured from all districts that will be sent to the central government to seek relief under the National Disaster Relief Fund.
