Tejas Express to restart from tomorrow

The country’s first private train Tejas Express is going to resume from Saturday after about 7 months amid COVID-19 lockdown. However, the journey on Tejas Express will not be the same as before. Lash with state-of-the-art facilities, passengers will have to follow social distancing and the other COVID protocols.

According to Western Railway, Tejas Express train number 82901-Mumbai will leave Central Railway Station at 3.35 pm which will reach Ahmedabad railway station at 9.55 pm. At the same time, train number 82902 will leave at 6.40 am on October 17, which will reach Mumbai Central at 1.10 pm.

According to the Western Railway, one COVID-19 protection kit will be available in each compartment. The kit will have masks, gloves, sanitizers, headgear, and other equipment. It will be mandatory for every passenger to download the Arogya Setu app mobile. Each coach will be sanitized and disinfected during arrival and commencement, for which a separate Corona Gord will be present in each coach. Apart from this, SOP rules will also be followed on catering. Every passenger must wear a facemask. During this journey, special monitoring will also be done on the train.
