Supreme Court will now function at full strength of 34 as Jusitce Rajesh Bindal, Chief Justice . Allahabad High Court and Justice Aravind Kumar Chief Justice, Gujarat High Court have been elevated to the top most court and are likely to take oath as judges of the Supreme Court in the next two days.
Two High Court Chief Justices elevated to SC; Supreme Court to function at full strength
The retirement age of high court judges is 62 and between May and July this six judges of the apex court will demit office upon attaining the age of 65.
Law Minister Kiren Rijiju took to Twitter to announce fresh appointments to the Supreme Court and extended best wishes to them.

Names of Supreme Court Judges recommended by Supreme Court Collegium
Names of the judges were recommended by the Collegium on January 31 and Department of Justice in the Law Ministry issued separate notifications announcing their appointments.
According to a resolution uploaded on Supreme Court Website, all members of the Collegium led by CJI Chandrachud were unanimous in recommending the name of Justice Bindal, Justice KM Jospeh had reservations on the name of Justice Kumar.

- Justice PV Sanjay Kumar, Chief Justice , Manipur High Court

- Justice Manoj Mishra, Judge , Allahabad High Court
