Watch: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspects Shatabdi Express

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited on the Shatabdi Express from New Delhi and Ajmer. The minister inspected over the train while he was there and asked passengers for their feedback.

A video of the railway minister making the on-the-spot assessment was posted on social media while the person was still on the train. He may be seen in the video interacting with the guests as they go.

Passengers have given positive feedback

“Passengers have given positive feedback. They told that trains are more clean than earlier, they are on time, platforms are clean.Two initiatives to be taken in this route. First increasing speed on this route by making certain changes in the track. Secondly, pantograph trains (Vande Bharat) will soon run between Delhi-Jaipur on this track after trials and testing,” Vaishnaw said.

The Indian Railways will begin additional projects along the corridor, said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in a statement. He said that due to track upgrades, the train speed on the New Delhi–Ajmer route will increase.

Also, he confirmed that the Vande Bharat trains between New Delhi and Jaipur will operate. After testing and trials on the route are finished, the semi-high-speed train will start running.
