The trailer of upcoming Rikshawala web series on ULLU was dropped on Wednesday, April 5. The trailer begins with a young woman named Nisha approaching a neighbourhood rikshawala as she wants to go home. Later on her way, she tries to kill herself after flashbacks of her distorted love life in which she suffered betrayal at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. Deadening voices of her ex-boyfriend’s current lover also haunt her memory. Right before she tries to jump to end her life, the rikshawala saves her. After a pep talk from him, Nisha begins leading a new life. She also quite frequently meets the rikshawala and the two eventually fall in love with each other.

All goes well until Nisha’s sister-in-law finds out about her whirlwind romance with a rikshawala. She convinces her into leaving him, citing caste and status. They also fix her marriage to a guy who matches their status. Nisha appears happy, but the heartbreak is now killing rikshawala. After several attempts to get her back, he finally swears revenge on her family. Now, he is after her sister-in-law who played a catalyst in separating him from Nisha. After initial resentment, the sister-in-law seems to be happy with the current equation. Were her intentions cruel right from the beginning?
