RR vs GT IPL 2023

RR vs GT IPL 2023: The highly anticipated clash between RR and GT is currently underway at former’s home ground. Batting first, Rajasthan Royals, having scored 50 runs and lost one wicket during the powerplay, found themselves in a situation where they needed to make a comeback after being reduced to 60/3 within seven overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal displayed excellent form and seemed capable of delivering another impressive performance, given his fluent batting skills. Unfortunately, Sanju Samson’s mistake during a run between the wickets cut short Jaiswal’s innings.

In the sixth over, Rashid Khan sent a swift delivery outside the off stump to Sanju Samson, who was the batsman on strike for the first ball of the over. Samson responded with a cut shot, intending to find a gap between the point and the backward point. However, Abhinav Manohar displayed quick reflexes and dove to halt the ball’s progress.

At first, both batsmen set off for a run, but upon observing Samson’s change of mind due to the fielding effort, he retreated back to his crease without communicating his intentions to his partner. Mohit Sharma, positioned near Manohar, retrieved the ball and swiftly threw it to Rashid Khan. Meanwhile, Yashasvi Jaiswal had advanced quite far from his end as he had committed to completing a single and was almost near the opposite end. Unfortunately, Samson’s sudden reversal left Jaiswal stranded, resulting in his dismissal.
