Viral Video: Wednesday morning, near the Narora Barrage in Bulansdhahr, Uttar Pradesh, people saw a 10-foot-long crocodile that astounded onlookers. The enormous lizard kept trying to leap back into the Ganga River, which was running below, as if it had somehow left its natural home. The crocodile attempted, but was unsuccessful, to scale a fence to prevent itself from plunging into the river. On land, it crawled until it was saved.

Crocodile Clings to Bars Before Propelling Into Water

Witnesses from the UP city captured the incident on camera, which they then posted online. Social media is ablaze with videos showing the crocodile trying to scale the barrage’s netting and crawling on land when it was unable to jump back into the river.

The video, which has gone viral, begins with the lizard clinging to the bars and peering out. It strains to maintain equilibrium as it propels itself into the water. The crocodile then succeeded in crawling across the ground. Moving on the raised area close to the rails required slow steps. It supposedly sustained injuries whilst attempting to scale the Narora Barrage fence.

Chaotic Scene Unfolds

According to the footage, people congregated there after noticing the crocodile meandering around outside of the water. The video, which is currently making the rounds on the internet, features voices that sound chaotic.

Forest officers rescued the straying crocodile, which was seeking help to return to the waterways, according to a report published on the Hindi news portal Live Hindustan.
