Viral Video: In the Kithore neighbourhood of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, four minors, including a girl, have been detained for harassing and making derogatory comments about their teacher. Additionally, the class 12 students recorded a video of the incident, which is currently going viral on social media.

The incident took place in the vicinity of the Kithore police station and Ram Manohar Memorial Inter College Radhna. Watch viral video below:
On Friday, the female teacher filed a complaint, alleging that the three Class 12 students had been harassing her for a few days. They repeatedly made offensive comments to her while she was travelling to or from school, with the assistance of another female student.

Based on the teacher’s complaint, the four students have been arrested and charged with violating the IPC’s Sections 354 (assault or criminal force against a woman with the intent to violate her modesty), 500 (defamation), and pertinent sections of the IT Act.

The students can be heard verbally abusing their teacher throughout the video. As the teacher walks by, they can be heard saying, “I love you, Meri Jaan.” Further, the teacher claimed that the viral video had affected her mental health.
According to ASP Meerut Dehat Keshav Kumar, a case was filed against four students, including a girl, and the police have detained two of the accused students. One of the accused students’ family members have also been named in a case, and his mother has been taken into custody. Further investigation is being done.
