Viral Video: Indian street cuisine is well-known for its flavor, spice, and variety, but it’s also well-known for being unclean, being prepared in an unhealthy way, and occasionally having unexpected guests in the food. The lovers of Chhole Bhature, Delhiites’ favorite breakfast dish, are devastated by the recent viral video.
Dead Lizard Found in Chhole Bhature
The customer in this viral video discovers a dead lizard in a Delhi bhatura. And the customer was so upset about this that he was yelling and phoning the stall owner. Later in the video, the woman finds a dead lizard on her porch while returning home with a plate of chhole bhature.
The person who shared the viral video, Ghar ke kalesh, is well-known for sharing kalesh (fight) footage on the microblogging site X (previously Twitter). “Kalesh over a Customer found De@d Lizard in chole bhature while Eating in Delhi,” the video’s title says.
History of Lizard Encounters in Street Food
This is not the first instance of such an incident; in June of last year, a client in Chandigarh reported finding a live lizard in his Chhole Bhature dish. One of the users said, “Nowadays Street food & Hygiene are poles apart Avoid eating out as much as possible.” Another person said, “This maybe true/fake. When it comes to preparing or serving food, Maintaining hygiene & standards is non negotiable.”
