Viral Video: On a quite Sunday night, Delhi entrepreneur Aman Jaiswal’s attempt at relishing a simple meal turned distressing. Having ordered food for delivery as comfort food, Jaiswal received an extremely unprofessional and highly troubling experience at the hands of his delivery partner.

Delivery Agent Demands ₹10 More

He said, “The problems started when the delivery agent started demanding an extra ₹10 for delivery.” Tired of arguing, Jaiswal agreed to the extra charge. He little knew that things were about to get worse, as the delivery was delayed by almost 45 minutes. Much to his shock, when the delivery agent finally arrived, the agent was having his food.

Jaiswal clicked a photograph of the entire incident. In the video, the delivery agent is seen relishing Jaiswal’s French fries, clearly giving no heed to the fact that it is for the customer. When confronted, the delivery agent expressed no sense of regret. Rather, he replied with a sarcastic laugh, saying, “Karte raho jo tumhe karna hai,” and dismissed Jaiswal’s complaints, refusing to hand over the meal.

Customer Calls Out Delivery Agent’s Misbehavior

Enraged, Jaiswal said in the video, “These are my fries which you are eating. This is my order. Ye mere fries hai toh tum kha raho ho. Ye mere order hai.” Despite this clear evidence of misbehavior, the delivery partner couldn’t care less and continued enjoying the meal with another delivery colleague.

The nonchalant attitude of the delivery agent, coupled with his denial to rectify the situation, has left Jaiswal deeply dissatisfied and outraged. There are major questions raised with regard to accountability and service standards within the food delivery industry. The incident went viral on social media, where several people came out to voice their disapproval over the behavior of the delivery agent and a system in place that guaranteed customer satisfaction and ethical behavior.

The incident underlines the increasing need for tight checks and balances within the food delivery sector to prevent such incidents and uphold some standard of professionalism and respect toward its customers.
