Viral Video: A viral video posted on Twitter by user Ghar ka Kalesh has landed a dramatic on board the Seemanchal Express into some controversy after it managed to capture the dramatic confrontation aboard the train, where an AC 2-tier coach would sport a lady lawyer traveling without any valid ticket, leading to heated altercation with the TTE onboard the train.
Ticket Demand Sparks Heated Argument
This Viral Video began when the TTE demanded the ticket from the lawyer. Instead of handing over the ticket, she picked a tirade, blaming the washroom as “stinky” and lots of other grievances, which turned into an aggressive act. Despite several demands for her ticket, she claimed that the TTE had torn it. When asked to furnish her seat number for digital verification, she could not remember it either and continued to behave rowdily.
Matters only worsened when other passengers took sides with the TTE, saying that the latter was being right by demanding proper procedure. He started cursing them and further deteriorated the situation. She even asked the TTE to accompany her to the area of the washrooms, further raising the tension.
Physical Assault Captured on Viral Video
At one point during the fighting, the TTE thought that it had no choice but to call the police. But before the police could be called, the lawyer is reported to have physically assaulted the TTE, an incidence captured on video, which has now turned into a viral video, gaining great attention and condemnation on social media.
The video only highlights the need for proper ticketing and conduct on public transport but raises questions about the behavior of individuals in positions of authority. The incident demonstrates, once again, the high value placed on following the law and respecting others regardless of the professional stature. Women’s empowerment is the process of giving women the ability to make decisions and govern their own life. It is a fundamental human right that is critical to establishing a more just and peaceful world. But This kind of behavior we look in above incident doesn’t count on Women empowerment.
