A number of passengers are seen in the widely shared video boarding train number 22545 and stumbling to find a seat.
Viral Video Exposes Ticketless Travelers
Video has been posted on Twitter by Ghar ka kalesh. Video has been received 91.9k likes. Images of passengers without tickets obstructing traffic near the first air-conditioned cabin on the Delhi-Sarai Rohilla Superfast Express went viral last month. Passengers in the picture sat close to the restrooms for more than five hours. The video informs viewers on the state of the transportation system and calls attention to the issue with the relevant authorities.
Public Reaction and Calls for Improvement
Reports state that traveling without a ticket is a big problem in India, on both local and passenger trains. According to a report published in late 2023, the Indian Railways has amassed ₹11,456 million in revenue from passengers over the previous ten years. This figure includes travelers who have either a faulty or non-existent ticket. People expressed their views in comment section .
