Viral Video: Six members of Yifat Zailer’s extended family, which includes a nine-month-old infant, were in their house on a kibbutz near the Gaza border when they faced an unexpected assault by Hamas militants crossing the border. Yifat has maintained contact with them, but their whereabouts have been unknown since Saturday morning.

Zailer, who is diligently pursuing every avenue to locate her missing family members, has shared an urgent video plea, expressing her belief that they are currently being held in Gaza. She said, “My family, including a nine-month-old baby and children, is currently being held in Gaza. My aunt has Parkinson’s disease. We want them back; we all want our family back.”
Zailer mentioned that she and her missing cousin had given birth at around the same time and were planning for their babies to grow up together before the attack disrupted their plans. She said. “I have a seven-month-old baby at home, and my cousin and I gave birth at almost the same time. We were texting each other all day, complaining, laughing, and sharing photos. We used to get together on Saturdays and talk about how our kids would grow up close in age.”
