Viral Video: On 15 September, a 26-year-old Madhya Pradesh lady was arrested in Worli for riding her motorbike without a helmet on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. On the sealink, two-wheelers are permitted. After being apprehended, the woman allegedly verbally abused the officers and even pointed her cigarette lighter, which was shaped like a weapon, at them. This occurred when he requested her driver’s licence and vehicle documentation. The video has quickly gone viral.
Nupur Patel’s Unfamiliarity with Mumbai’s Road Rules Led to Sea Link Violation
Nupur Patel is from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh and was in Pune to see her brother. She wanted to witness the Worli Sea Link, so she borrowed her brother’s motorbike and travelled to Mumbai. According to accounts, Nupur was utterly unfamiliar of the city’s roads and had no notion that two-wheelers are not permitted on the Sea Link. She also disobeyed the signs at the Sea Link’s entry.

According to the police, she also attempted to avoid the two officers who attempted to stop her there. This video is posted by X user Harsh Tyagi with a caption, “A female motorcyclist is being rude and verbally aggressive towards the police officers.”
