Rana is red with anger in the video, using his uniform’s authority inappropriately following a minor collision between his car and an e-rickshaw. It can be seen that he comes out of the vehicle, flashes a pistol, and slaps a passerby woman very hard while using abusive language.

Based on the viral video, senior police officials took prompt action. ASP Vineet Bhatnagar of the Hapur police said that SI Rana has been suspended with immediate effect until further inquiry. He added that the incident issued a strict directive to all cops to maintain proper conduct and avoid any act that can dent public trust.
