Be it humans, animals or birds, a mother will go to any lengths to protect her brood from any kind of danger. Mother instinct manifests itself in its fiercest manner if the situation demands. And a video gone viral on social media is just a proof of that.

Fierce battle between mother hen, predator snake
Shared on Twitter, the short video shows a fierce battle between a venomous snake and a hen trying to protect its chicks from being swallowed alive.
In the video, the angry mother hen is seen attacking the snake aggressively with her wings and beak. It is furiously flapping the wings and attacks the snake the claws to stop it from slithering towards her hatchlings.

Though it’s not clear who wins this battle of attrition, the video is a must watch to know a mother’s indomitable spirit.
