Viral video: In a horrific incident, a group of students battered a pregnant street dog to death in Delhi. The boys are reported to be students of Don Bosco Technical Institute located in Okhla. A video shows that the boys first tortured the dog, killed her and then dragged the body across the field.
In the disturbing video, the boys are seen cornering the dog inside a tin shed on the institute’s campus. A student who is standing outside the shed with a rod in his hand, is being provoked by others.

After the horrid video capturing the torture and killing of the pregnant dog went viral on social media, animal lovers and activists have called for strict action against the accused.
New Friends Colony Police registered an FIR in the matter and launched investigation. As per the complaint, two staff members of the institute were also allegedly present when the dog was beaten to death.

‘Punish the culprits’
Ambika Shukla, Trustee, PFA, said, “It is horrific to see such brutality by young students who can be seen laughing as they beat an expectant mother to death. These boys must be rusticated from college and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The institution must be severely penalised as not only its students but also its staff are involved,” she said.
Meanwhile in another incident, a man was arrested for allegedly killing two puppies and uploading videos of the act on Instagram. The man killed the first puppy by hanging it to a tree and the second one by throwing it from the fourth floor of a building.
