The video, which was tweeted by ‘Tactical Buddy’ (sadly laughing at the tragedy), shows the young man and two other youngsters standing on the railway tracks while filming despite being aware of the approaching train, which sounded its horn in time, and despite the train’s horn ringing. The gang ignored the train’s repeated warnings and constant blaring, moving aside only as the trains were about to cross them. The young man continued to pose for the camera even after clearing the track while edging closer to the train. The young man is seen in the video posing against the train as it speeds by before it strikes him. The young man is suddenly knocked to the ground, and the video ends there. The incident, which was recorded on camera, was posted online and quickly became popular.

In 2018, video of an Indian fitness instructor named T Siva who was struck by a train in Telangana while recording himself in front of the approaching train surfaced. He was forced to appear in court and pay a fee despite surviving with head injuries.
