The video has since gone viral, with two individuals claiming to belong to Hindu Mahasabha having snuck in a bottle of holy water, Gangajal, under the nose of security and poured it over the grave inside Taj Mahal.

The Agra administration has taken prompt note of the matter. Immediately after the video went viral, consequent to the anonymous photo received on November 7, including the video, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) quickly nabbed two youths who were part of the video. The Agra Police Commissionerate has also taken note of the matter, and a complaint has been done at the Tajganj police station. The shunted persons are being probed fully into their acts, which had raised security and procedural concerns.

Claims of Hindu Mahasabha Leader’s Attempt Foiled

There have even been heightened controversies where it is claimed that Meena Rathore, a local leader of the Hindu Mahasabha, had openly wished to enter the Taj Mahal, by a Kanwar, but was stopped by security personnel in timely fashion. Meanwhile, what the gentleman brewed in controversy later entered with water concealed in his hand, inside a Bisleri bottle and then used that water for his religious water offered inside the mausoleum.

The sensation caused by the video was taken up in a very small time by user Sachin Gupta, who uploaded it. The DCP of Agra City confirmed the incident as the act of the two with footage of pouring water inside the Taj Mahal and took them to police custody for further action.

CISF and Police Detain Suspects

The incident now exposes simmering tension, leaving the possible tone of violating religious practices and historical places. It is a wake-up call for increased security apparatuses to avert the kind of intrusion into such sensitive places to protect the sanctity of the well-worshipped places. The timely action by the Agra administration now solicits to set the situation to ensure that it does not happen in future.
