Initial Accident Report
The case was first reported as an accident by the local traffic officials. However, the case changed once Asghar’s friend identified the accused in a statement. Asghar was a used automobile trader who did business with the accused, according to the authorities. Amreen owed Asghar Rs 4 lakhs for the automobile she bought from him.
Dispute Escalates to Physical Assault Case
The victim and the accused got into an argument that turned violent when the victim demanded his money back. After thereafter, Asghar went to the JC Nagar police station and filed a case for physical assault against the accused. Asghar was urged to return the case by Amreen, but he declined. Under the guise of bargaining, the accused asked Asghar to meet on the night of the murder. But as soon as Asghar arrived at the predetermined location, the three accused killed him by purposefully running the automobile over him. The three accused initially denied any involvement in the crime, but they later admitted to it. There is currently an ongoing investigation into the matter.
