A gateman attempts to unlock the lifting barrier to let the car pass in a video posted by NowThis on Instagram after witnessing it being dragged into the danger area. The SUV was being pushed by the dump truck, which is thought to have experienced brake failure, when it crashed into the barrier, which snapped as a result of the impact.
The yellow and red flashing lights at this time indicated that the incoming train was putting the driver in risk because they were directly in the midst of the railroad track. Following a stop, the dumper started to back up, which many social media users referred to as a “attempt at murder.”
