Viral Video: “Gym couples” can be annoying to many, though, their reasons can be different. The phrase “those who lift together, stay together” has now been taken to a whole new level by one couple, and people are going crazy. A married couple was seen in the viral video posted on social media doing the customary first dance with deadlifting. According to the text in the video, this happened because the couple met at the gym.
Couple’s weightlifting sparks debate
Unsurprisingly, the video received a lot of negative feedback, garnering thousands of comments. CrossFit followers, whom some have referred to as a “cult,” were quickly identified as the gym-going bride and groom. With a focus on functional movement, CrossFit is a high-intensity form of interval training that includes a strength and conditioning workout. Some people might view gaining strength or losing weight as extreme fitness. The couple were seen doing the same kind of exercise.
The video begins with the couple weightlifting while other guests at the wedding continue to applaud the couple for their dedication and lovely act. The video appears to be from some foreign country.
