Viral Video: A viral video is making rounds on social media, evoking countrywide concern and outrage. It shows a woman passenger aboard the Vande Bharat Express train detailing serious problems her family and fellow passengers are facing. The video, posted on Twitter by user Priya Singh, shows the frustration and distress of passengers, painting a troubling picture of their experience on one of India’s premier trains.

Health Issues and Suffocation

She could be heard in the video narrating the ordeal the passengers have been facing for hours. “We are here in Vande Bharat. Everyone here is in trouble,” she says in the video, highlighting it as a serious issue. People are having health problems—heart problems, suffocation, and other such problems. Repeated complaints to the train staff yielded no solution and further built up the tense atmosphere. She says, “We have complained a hundred times, but there is no cure. People have gone mad. And the staff is coming and talking rudely.”

Ignored Complaints and Careless Attitude

It also exposed how passengers were given boiling hot water bottles instead of cold water; an error that went unchecked for hours. The careless attitude of the staff in ignoring the passengers’ complaints further annoyed them. “There was no cleanliness at all,” the woman says, referring to the general condition of the train. Their requests for basic facilities, such as cold water, were ignored and the staff told them not to complain.

The video has gone viral over social media, where netizens are questioning the quality of service being offered on-board Vande Bharat Express. It raises quite a few questions about the safety and comfort of passengers on board a train service that was supposed to be a flagship in itself. How the authorities will now react to these serious allegations is yet to be seen as the video continues to go viral.
