Viral video: A video capturing a heated altercation between a woman and a man inside the Delhi Metro has recently gone viral, sparking a wave of concern regarding passenger safety and the lack of intervention by fellow commuters. The incident has once again highlighted the growing number of conflicts and disagreements witnessed on the Delhi Metro.

The video, shared by the Twitter handle @gharkekalesh, shows a woman wearing a checked shirt initiating the confrontation by hitting the man standing next to her and subsequently slapping him. The reason behind the altercation remains unknown, with speculation suggesting it may be a personal matter.
It is particularly alarming that the passengers around them seemed indifferent to any incident, either watching it or simply ignoring it. Instead of intervening in order to calm down the situation, a rush hour passenger decided they’d be watching this incident unfold as if it was an action film. The video revealed questions as to whether individuals are responsible for the safety and welfare of other passengers.
