Girl was brutally tortured

Medical professionals are also performing a thorough examination to determine if she was sexually abused. Reports indicate that the couple accused the girl of “not working properly” and theft, and then proceeded to inflict pain on her by beating her with hot tongs and sticks, leaving her in a state of physical distress. An initial investigation has revealed these details. An official said, “She was not given food for days. The teen used to eat leftover food from the dustbin.”

The police took swift action to rescue the young girl following a complaint lodged by a Gurugram-based NGO. The complaint was made after a tweet thread about her condition, created by activist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj, went viral on social media. The photographs shared by Bhardwaj showed the girl with bruises and burns on various parts of her face and body, including her forehead, lips, cheeks, and arms.
