Viral photo: Bengaluru’s streets have taken on pink hues as a result of the city’s full-blown cherry blossom invasion. The Tabibuea Rosea tree, a neotropical tree, is the source of these cherry blossoms. While strolling through Bengaluru’s streets during their growing season, one can admire its beauty.

The Karnataka Tourism Department’s official Twitter account has also been updated with lovely photos of the tall trees covered in pink blossoms. Originally posted by Instagram user @reflectionofmymemories, these pictures of AECS Layout in Whitefield were later reposted by Karnataka Tourism.

The department in the post’s caption informed, “The Pink Trumpets or the Tabebuia Avellaneda have started to blossom here in Bengaluru. That time of the year when certain parts of Bengaluru turns completely pink.” This post was published on January 16. It has received 1k likes and several comments and 200 retweet since being shared.
