Brown Bear Attacks a Black Bear
A giant brown bear can be seen in the video assaulting a smaller black bear and trying to rip it apart with its jaws. The larger bear’s violence indicates a deep enmity towards the black bear. The brown bear is seen dragging the black bear ruthlessly as it lies stationary in front of it. Bears usually refuse to fight against other bears, however this unsual video has caught attention of many people.
The video’s caption explains, “This might come as a surprise to some, but brown bears (Ursus arctos) have been known to kill black bears (Ursus americanus) from time to time. Such interactions are most commonly observed in areas where their habitats overlap. Brown bears are generally larger and more aggressive compared to black bears, giving them a physical advantage in any confrontations between the two species.”
